About
Arlene Morrisette lives on a 100 acre goat farm with her husband Roger. Boundless Kid Farm is located about three hours north of the Twin Cities near Remer, Minnesota. She has raised meat goats since 1996 and continuously strives to improve her herd, as well as the overall vitality of the meat goat industry.
Over the years, Arlene has bred Boer, Spanish, and Myotonic goats. However, it is the Savanna breed that thrives most in Minnesota's harsh winter weather. In addition to being hardy, Savannas produce a mild-tasting meat. They are also low-maintenance and strong from the time they are born.
Meat isn't the only way Arlene utilizes her Savannas. She has also crossed several of her dairy goats with the Savanna line, thus producing kids that have the stamina and docile personality of the Savanna and the milk production of various dairy breeds. Cheese, ice cream, and soap are just a few of the ways Arlene has made use of the milk produced.
